RENOVATION OF A FARMHOUSE IN CRESPINA (PISA) TO CREATE BEAUTIFUL HOLIDAY ACCOMMODATION FOR SALE PARTLY FINISHED
Nestled in the classical Tuscan landscape, Crespina is easy to reach, it is about 43 miles away from Florence, just 18 miles from Pisa, Livorno and Lucca and 15 miles from Pisa International Airport.
The main tourist places of interest in Tuscany are less than an hour's drive from Crespina: from the Etruscan settlement in Volterra, to the towers of San Gimignano, the cliffs of Castiglioncello and the fashionable beaches in Versilia.
The building is approx. half a mile from the centre of Crespina and it is a typical example of a Tuscan farmhouse. Built during the 18thCentury, it was the main building of the Villa Corsini farm, situated on the border of the estate. The building also housed the stables, cellars and coach stalls.
The farmhouse is comprised of two buildings covering an area of approx.10,700 sq ft.
The main building is on two floors. The ground floor comprises a large room of 1,500 sq ft, with rib vaults supported by sandstone columns. The stables and sheds are also on the ground floor.

The floors and the saddle roof were built using wood and bricks
and the roof was covered in the typical Tuscan style of “bent tile-flat tile”.
Approved plans to create beautiful holiday accomodation, partly finished, as follows:
The project involves the creation of holiday accommodation, composed of seven flats and a communal area for relaxation or for holding events. There will also be a swimming pool and several fitness areas.
On the ground floor of the main building, there will be two flats and the communal / events area.
On the first floor, which will be reached via three external staircases, there will be four flats.
In the second building, the two upper floors will be made into a flat and the ground floor will
house the swimming pool. This building will have two lateral wings (terraces with pergolas, offering
superb views of the swimming pool and the valley), which will be at the same height as the ground floor of
the main building.
The plan for the external areas surrounding the two buildings comprises the following elements:
1. The restoration of the original circular farmyard (approx. 65 ft in diameter). The former centre of rural life will become an open area, with benches in the garden and spaces for open-air events.
2. The landscaping of the park. An orchard of ancient trees and an extensive olive grove have been
planted. A section of the park has been given to timber trees and hedging borders the area. A fitness trail has also been created in the valley with two small bridges crossing the river.
The landscaping project has been completed and the park now has an automatic irrigation system (for which an artesian well was created).
